A roundtable discussion on the topic “Preventing Early Marriage Among Youth” was held at Urgench Innovation University.

The event was attended by N. Bekchanova, Chairperson of the University Women’s Advisory Council, and M. Niyozova, a university tutor. During the discussion, it was emphasized that marriage is not only a means of continuing the human lineage, but also a sacred value that ensures human dignity and honor and plays an important role in maintaining social stability.

It was also highlighted that decisions regarding marriage should be made thoughtfully and responsibly, as strong families form the foundation of a strong society. Attention was drawn to the fact that cases of early marriage among young people and marriages between close relatives are still observed today, which may lead to various negative consequences.

During the event, important recommendations and advice were provided on preparing young people for family life and enhancing their legal, moral, and psychological awareness.
