A seminar on population and agricultural census was organized

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 19, 2025, No. PF-173 “On conducting the population and agricultural census in the Republic of Uzbekistan” (https://lex.uz/docs/7735323), a population and agricultural census will be carried out in the country from January 15 to February 28, 2026.

Today, on January 13,  a seminar was organized at Urgench Innovation University ahead of this important event. During the seminar, the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of the university, N. Matyakubov, and an employee of the Khorezm Regional Department of Statistics, Z. Babajonov, provided professors, staff, and students with explanations about the essence and significance of the population census.

During the seminar, detailed information was also given on the procedure for online registration through the census.stat.uz portal, as well as on the formation of statistical indicators for the effective organization of the process.
