A roundtable discussion dedicated to February 11 — International Day of Women and Girls in Science was held at Urgench Innovation University.

During the event, Shukhrat medal recipient, Academician of the Turan Academy of Sciences, Associate Professor of Urgench Innovation University, poet S. Samandarova, and Chairperson of the University Women’s Advisory Council, member of the “Women’s Enlightenment” Public Council N. Bekchanova delivered speeches. They spoke about women and girls who actively participate in various fields such as science, education, sports, and arts, highlighting their initiative, dedication, modern knowledge, professional skills, and high moral values.

The speakers also emphasized the achievements of female professors, teachers, and active female students of the university who are reaching significant milestones in the field of science.
