An event dedicated to the 585th anniversary of Alisher Navoi and the 543rd anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was held at Urgench Innovation University.

A literary and artistic evening devoted to the 585th birth anniversary of the Sultan of Words, Alisher Navoi, and the 543rd birth anniversary of the great poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur was organized at a high level by teachers of the Department of Uzbek and Foreign Philology, particularly Associate Professor O. Panayeva and Senior Lecturer E. Niyezmetov.

The event was attended by university professors, writers, poets, and students. New information was presented regarding recent scientific research on understanding and studying Navoi’s genius. Students performed artistic presentations, skillfully reciting ghazals written by the two great creators. Their life paths, hardships, and efforts to promote humanistic ideas were demonstrated through stage performances.

Songs composed based on Navoi’s ghazals and beautiful dance performances added a festive spirit to the evening. Most importantly, such events remind young people to become worthy descendants of great ancestors. Indeed, knowing Navoi means understanding one’s identity.
