The novel “O‘tkan kunlar” (Bygone Days) by Abdulla Qodiriy was discussed within the “One Book per Week” project

As part of the regular “One Book per Week” project held at Urgench Innovation University, this week’s session was dedicated to the famous Uzbek writer Abdulla Qodiriy and his renowned novel “O‘tkan kunlar” (Bygone Days).

The event, organized by the university’s Information Resource Center, was conducted in a discussion format. Initially, students’ knowledge about the author’s life and literary activity was assessed. Afterwards, participants answered questions based on the novel’s content, thereby strengthening their understanding of the work.

At the end of the event, active participants were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.

This project aims to foster reading culture among students, promote interest in national literature, and encourage deeper appreciation of Uzbekistan’s literary heritage.
