A roundtable discussion on “Combating the Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances” was held at Urganch innovatsion universiteti.

The event, organized by the head of the university Information Resource Center, M. Davletova, featured speeches by a narcology specialist from the Khorezm regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Mental Health, a representative of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs, and the head of the legal information sector of the M. Zamakhshariy Information Library Center.

The speakers discussed preventing the spread of drug addiction and psychotropic substances, promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening preventive measures among youth, combating illegal drug circulation, and forming public immunity against this social threat.

They also emphasized the importance of organizing meaningful leisure time for young people and encouraging them to remain vigilant and responsible for their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.
